Our fitters

Judy has been a certified Mastectomy Fit Specialist for 38 years. She has extensive knowledge and is the heart of the mastectomy department at Pelton's.

Loucindy is an apprentice fitter, learning the trade from one-on-one mentorship and direct instruction from our seasoned and highly qualified fitter, Judy. Loucindy is working toward her certification as a fit specialist.

During the fitting

We will take the time to get to know about your needs and any changes you might have experienced since your last fitting. It is important to us that you leave feeling as comfortable as possible with you need bra(s) and/or prosthesis. We carry a wide range of products that will allow you to feel confident in your daily activities.

After the fitting

We will take care of all necessary paperwork and file directly with your insurance provider. If we were able to fit you with an item that we had in stock you will be able to leave with you bra(s) and/or prosthesis the same day. Sometimes it is necessary to order th e items, and in that case we provide delivery to your home, as an option at no charge.

If any questions or concerns arise, we encourage our customers to give us a call. We are here to offer help and guidance for all our mastectomy customers.

Donations

We also participate in the American Cancer Society's prosthesis donation program. If you would like you can donate your old prosthesis and it will be fitted for a woman who does not have insurance.
