Pelton's is one of the oldest family-owned businesses in the state of Connecticut. Once a pharmacy with a small home health department, Pelton's became completely a home health care company in 2005. In continuous operation for over 200 years, Pelton's is the most experienced choice in the state and we are dedicated to growing with the community we serve. Retail

Pelton's has a beautiful 7,000-foot retail space that showcases our wide selection of products. The showroom displays hundreds of helpful home medical products including canes, walkers, wheelchairs, lift chairs, scooters, bath safety equipment, orthopedic bracing, and compression hosiery. Visit our showroom and you’ll find something special at Pelton's – dedicated customer service from employees who care about your needs.

We believe in complete customer service. We service all of the equipment that we sell and have one a large parts and service departments. We are a contracted provider for Medicare, Medicaid, Anthem and other insurance companies. Our professional customer service and billing staff will work with your medical team to gather all of the required paperwork for insurance coverage. Let us handle the entire claims process.

Mobility and Seating

Manual wheel chairs, specialty bath safety equipment and patient lifts are all available through our team of highly qualified customer service representatives who all have many years of experience working in the home health equipment field and can answer any question you might have. Our approach is holistic – we take environment, lifestyle, and physical needs all into account.

Aging in Place

We understand that given a choice, people prefer to stay in their home. Not only do we understand that but we strive to help our customers with any modifications needed, regardless of age.

We offer products that will allow you to remain safely and independently in the home of your choice. Our services include wheelchair ramps, vertical platform lifts, stair lifts, and scooters. In addition, we have partnered Sugar Hill Building and Design, also a local, family-owned business. Sugar Hill specializes in home modifications ranging from outdoor ramps to as walk-in bathtubs.
